Mom’s House®, Inc. of Johnstown provides a secure and safe, totally free childcare so single, abused and neglected parents can continue their education, either at secondary or post-secondary levels, or a job training position.
Mom’s House®, Inc. of Johnstown also provides a variety of services to the parent, including tutoring and assistance with homework when necessary, and counseling in life skills, parenting techniques, and nutrition. Parents will be lovingly guided to set realistic goals and work to achieve them, to develop self-control as a parent and a person, and to build self-esteem and self-confidence through self-discipline.
In return, each client agrees through written contract to:
- Attend school regularly.
- Maintain passing grades.
- Participate in our annual "FRIEND-RAISING" events.
- Give three hours of service time week to Mom’s House®.

Self-Pay Parents
Mom’s House®, Inc. of Johnstown periodically has enrollment seats open. In these cases, Self-Pay Parents are invited to enroll their child/children. They will be responsible for signing an agreement paying a daily or hourly fee. These monies will supplement the Scholarship program.
